Insurance companies require access to private mental health information, including diagnoses and treatment details, which can compromise privacy and limit care options. By operating outside this system, I ensure that our work remains confidential and tailored to your needs—not dictated by insurance policies. Additionally, I recognize that the current healthcare system often creates more barriers than solutions, and by removing myself from it, I can provide care that is ethical, client-centered, and free from unnecessary restrictions.

    I’m happy to provide “Superbills” for insurance reimbursement upon request. To explore your options, I recommend checking with your insurance provider about out-of-network mental health coverage. These are essentially statements for reimbursement from your insurance if you have it, and will vary from plan to plan.
